The smart place to invest Maldon
Steeped in history and a well-known centre for leisure activities such as yachting, Maldon offers a number of sites and premises for businesses, both large and small.

Maldon

Maldon district is situated at the heart of Europe within easy reach of London and the channel ports. It is rich in history, leisure facilities and business opportunities.

Throughout the Maldon district there are 52 acres of allocated employment land. The district has a number of sites and industrial premises available on leasehold or freehold to suit potential new businesses. The main concentrations of employment land are located around Maldon and Burnham-on-Crouch. There are however, pockets of industrial activity spread across the Maldon district.

All businesses whether they are looking to relocate to the district or are already based here are supported by the Economic Development Team who can provide a number of services to local businesses.

Among the many reasons why entrepreneurs have chosen the district as their base is the fact that our commercial property is excellent value for money.

There are two sites in Maldon that Maldon District Council Economic Development Team would like to see brought forward for development. These being Langford Business Park which has been allocated for high tech business or office development and Sadds Wharf (the old port) in Station Road, Maldon. Both have the potential to really add to the economy and act as a stimulant for further development.
